With the help of Microsoft Windows Xp you can easily partition your harddrive.
I wil help you to partitioning and formating your harddisk.By the help of a software called disk management you can partition and format your harddisk easily like 1-2-3-.This software is
inbuilt with Windows Xp. You can partition your harddisk in two ways.Yep Two Ways.
1.With CD-ROM Support.
2.Without CD-ROM Support.

1.With CD-ROM Support You Can Partition and Format Your Harddisk Following Ways
(i) .Insert Your Bootable Disk (Windows Xp).
(ii).Setup Your Bios.
(iii).Make Sure That Your CD-ROM is Bootable.
(iv).After That A Message Will Appear -> Press Any Key To Continue.....
(v).Press A Key To Start Installation.
(vi).After The Loading Process Finished Press F8 To Accept The Agreement And Continue.
(vii).Follow The Instructions Given By Windows.
(Viii).There is a Option Called "Make a Partition"
(ix).Make Your Partition .
(x).Set The Size Of Partition.
(xi).Now You Should Format Your Partition . NOTE :-( All The Data Of The Drive Will Deleted During The Format).
(xii). Now After Formatting You Can Choose Your File System.(NTFS/FAT).
(xiii).Start Windows Installation.
You r Done...
2.Without CD-ROM Support You Can Partition and Format Your Harddisk This Way..
(i).Goto Run (Windows+R).
(ii).Type "diskmgmt.msc"
(iii).Click Ok.
(iv).Your Current Partitions are Shown There.
(v).Now You Can Change Your Drive And Partition Settings By Clicking The Drive Path.
(vi).Its Highly Recommanded That You Backup Your Data Before Continue.
